Digital technology and automation are no longer roads or paths, but rather superhighways to be travelled at speed. Our Technical and Production Control departments gain new momentum with the hiring of ten highly qualified professionals.

Automation in storage systems is now a permanent feature of the industry, as are ever-changing market requirements. SCADA and PLC are now commonplace - as the new Technosilos Automation department knows only too well. The need for indoor space continues, and we double our square footage once again. Innovation continues apace, as does investment. The new Technosilos Test Lab is dedicated to the study of the effects of pneumatic transport on materials.

Technosilos enters the international market, installing its first system abroad. The production facility is expanded to satisfy new market requirements. Automation in storage systems and management of raw materials is the new frontier, the added value which marks a watershed. Righi Elettroservizi proves itself to be the ideal partner for moving in this direction. The production site requires further adaptation, and is soon double the size.

Technosilos snc is established to replace Silo-flex. HQ in Capocolle di Bertinoro, near Forlì, boasts extensive new facilities: 1,800 m² of indoor space and 4,000 m² of outdoor space. The polyester silos for under cover storage are no longer sufficient. Technosilos purchases the Silcal company to produce fibreglass silos, with our own-design stainless-steel and aluminium monoblock silos completing the range. We install our first industrial system.

From an experience comes an idea, from the idea a company: Silo-flex. Silo-flex manufactures and markets mobile containers – sacks – for storing semolina, but they can be easily transformed into fixed storage silos. This genuine innovation meets with great success. Harnessing its flair for innovation, Silo-flex delivers its first system complete with raw material transport and dosing the next year.
